The event takes place at 7:30am in the Peace Garden, Denne Road Cemetary on August 6th. Everybody is welcome regardless of faith.

"Lest we forget"
On arrival, stroll or stay still in silence.
At 7:45 a bell will sound: a proclamation from the mayor of Hiroshima will be read.
Each person may make a statement and/or a prayer.
At 8:15am - the time the bomb burst over Hiroshima - the bell will ring eight times.
We will share two minutes of silence.
Leave quietly when you wish.
Please take a flower and place it beside the sand.
If you wish, take birdseed to scatter as an offering.
