A post-election message

Now that the dust has settled and we have all more or less got back to our normal sleep patterns after the marathon count I would like to reflect a little on the election campaign and, most importantly, thank those people who voted Labour in Horsham.

Horsham’s Labour candidate declares interests

In March 2010 the Ministry of Justice issued guidance about declarations of interest to all parliamentary election candidates in response to a recommendation by the Committee for Standards in Public Life.

Greatly cheered by Labour Party's plans

Horsham Labour Party's prospective parliamentary candidate, Andrew Skudder, wrote about his experiences at the party's annual conference in this letter to the West Sussex County Times, which was printed today.

Labour's parliamentary candidate & expenses

The West Sussex County Times carried a letter in May from a Peter Hillman about our parliamentary candidate's statement on MPs' expenses.

Our prospective parliamentary candidate and the Chair of Horsham Labour Party both had letters published in the same paper this week in response to the original letter.

Selection was democratic

A letter printed in the West Sussex County Times asked why Horsham Labour Party did not select somebody from within the constituency to be its parliamentary candidate.

Strong views on expenses

In response to a letter about MPs' expenses in a previous edition of the West Sussex County Times our parliamentary candidate, Andrew Skudder wrote this letter, which was printed in today's edition of the same paper.

What has Labour Done for Horsham Lately?
